The Story in Photos

Two handsome gondoliers have just sent a letter to the ladies of the piazzetta.

List and learn ye dainty roses, roses white and roses red.

Ladies, we are here—the men you adore.
We? Marco and Giuseppe? Certainly not!

Benedetto, my heart is another's.
Another's? Impossible, when you could have...ME!

Francesco's is open for Breakfast!  What will you ladies have today?
A plate of macaroni! And a rusk!

For the Merriest Fellows are We!

Tra-la, tra-la, tra-la, tra-la-la-la-la— tra-la-la-la!

Tra-la-la-la-la-la-la! Tra-la-la-la-la-la-la! Tra-la-la-la! Tra-la-la-la!...

They will choose two ladies, and one may be me.

Ladies, indeed! You're only 8 years old.
Nevertheless, we are waiting!

We're called Gondolieri, but that's a vagary...

...it's quite honorary the trade that we ply!          (Why are they fainting?)

And now to choose our brides!

Place these handkerchiefs upon our eyes...
and we will undertake to marry any two of you we catch!

This is Tessa! Rapture, rapture!                  To me, Gianetta fate has granted just the very girl I wanted!

Giulia! My heart is yours, if you will take it.         Fabiana! Loveliest lady in the land, will you be mine?
Of course!                                                           Yes, dear Fausto, yes!

From the sunny Spanish shore...The Noble Duke of Plaza-Tor...

You do not possess the accomplishment of tootling such as a cornet-a-piston?
Alas, no, your grace, but I can imitate a farmyard...I do an especially nice cow...'Mooo..."
Ah! Ah!  I don't see how that would help us...I don't see how we could...bring it in!

Photo Gallery Under Construction....More to come soon!

When a merry maiden marries, sorrow goes and pleasure tarries...

Goodbye, Giorgio. I'll miss you.

Already married? But we were married 3 months ago! One of you...only one.

Hail to the King and Queen of Barataria!
