LCCT (Las Cruces Community Theatre),

Sign In/Out:
Guardians: please come in to sign your child in/out each day.
Wear:
On the first day, please wear your new "Midsummer Night's Dream" T-shirt.
We will bring your shirt
if you haven't yet picked it up.
Comfortable clothing that will allow the child to bend,
stretch,
move around without needing to adjust the clothing.
Closed-toed shoes with backs that stay securely on the foot.
To reduce the risk of serious accident, children wearing flip flops, sandals, or clogs
will be
sent home to
change shoes.
Bring:
A body that has been well rested and fed
Water bottle
Snack (only for 3-hour rehearsals)
Script with pencil attached
Prepare:
On Monday, June 13, you are expected to be familiar
with all of the songs on your lyric sheet (Lyric sheets).
Parents, so your child will not feel lost, please play these songs in
your home or in your car to help your child become familiar with them. (See AMND Fairy Songs)
REHEARSALS:
AMND comprises
three groups of actors who rarely interact with other groups. Therefore, we
will schedule rehearsals according to your group: Court, Romantics, Mechanicals,
and Fairies.
For the first two-and-one-half weeks, children will be scheduled for 2-3
consecutive hours per day, rotating in/out throughout the day. At times they
will have days off.
The second half of the third week we will put it all together. Everyone will attend for 3 hours.
The fourth week’s rehearsals are in the afternoon.
